It was a very nice evening, I thought. I just submitted my latest work so I have the rest of the day free. Kou-kun, who had just returned home, bought a cake so we're now having it as afternoon tea snack. Just the two of us, because Ken-kun and Ryou-kun will be returning late tonight. A combination of delicious cake and tea, and free time spent together with Kou-kun. It's almost perfect! ... well, that was what I thought until Kou-kun brings up the topic. "Mamoru?" "Yes?" "I love you." That was so sudden that I choked on my tea. "Are you okay!? Mamoru!" Kou-kun left his seat right away and came to my side, gently rubbing my back in hope to pacify fit of coughs.
