A young knight, clad in crimson armor, stood on the Rinkernator. His red blood eyes fixed on the wide sky of Sol Ciel, as if admiring the beauty of the world. His soft silver hair swayed beautifully as the wind blew past him, chilling his spine. But he stayed, stood tall on there.
What he wanted here? There was none here.
And one suitable question for him: why he was here? He supposed to return to his place, to live with his kind, deep inside the tower.
All questions were answered, as he opened his mouth, and started singing.
Mea harton na re dsier
Mea yasra na re dsier
The tower started reacting with each words he spoke in Hymmnos. The Hymn that he sing right now could made a big damage to Sol Ciel. He maybe not a Reyvateil, but he knew how to sing Hymn, because he is the ‘son’ of a powerful Pureblood β Reyvateil that once wished for the creation of an utopia called Reyvateilia. Yet, none was there to stop him.
Not Lyner. Not Shurelia. They were too busy enjoying the city on the Wings of Horus.
Not Misha. Not Aurica. Each were having tight schedules with their current jobs.
Not Mir. Because the Reyvateil was away from Sol Ciel, dating a guy named Croix.
Walasye na hartes mea
Omnis revatail accrroad harton...
The tower started to shake, just like what he sang, what he wished for. The hatred he pour into the song was strong enough to make sudden earthquake all over the Wings of Horus. Humanity didn’t stand a chance against such enormous dark Hymn. For sure, everything shall be destroyed just like what he wanted.
Rrha guwo ga ruinie--
Before he could sing the last word, a pair of hands sealed his mouth. He gasped, struggling to break free. In his desperate will to continue singing, he tried to think who would’ve been up there to stop him?
“You shouldn’t sing that, Ayatane.”
And his question was answered. He knew whose voice was that, so he stopped struggling. Instead, he just grabbed the hand and gently pushed them away. He turned around and confronted the person.
“And you should stop interfering with someone’s else’s world, Lorelai.”
Lorelai grinned. He pushed away some strands of his crimson, wavy hair aside so he could staring at the young Virus right into his eyes. “Well, I should. Especially, when you want to destroy it with that Hymn,” he said in calm demeanor.
“The Hymn EXEC_PHANTASMAL_EXPELL is created to destroy the world of Sol Ciel and Ar Ciel. Why I shouldn’t sing it?”
“Because you’re only lonely, and you can’t destroy the whole world just because of that.”
Ayatane sighed in defeat. He never could win from that embodiment of Seventh Fonon. Not once. Even his Mother always lose in debate against Lorelai. Really…it seemed none could beat his cheeriness and generosity. Well, what do you expect from him, anyway?
The red knight sat down, knowing that it was no use trying to find a chance to sing the Hymn again. He handed out the Hymn Crystal to Lorelai, which he accepted happily. The entity chuckled and sat next to him, enjoying the cold breeze together.
“Really, what would be this world without me?” a smug grin stole on his lips as he said so.
Ayatane rolled his eyes. “You wasn’t here when Mother trying to exterminate humans and creating Reyvateilia.”
“Hey, I was trapped within Vandesdelca, okay? I didn’t even know that Mir planned to destroy Sol Ciel!”
“Alright, I understand…”
Lorelai pouted. He poked the silver haired guy’s cheek just to make him more annoyed. “C’mon, stop being such a loner. Even Mir had stopped being an anti-social and started dating a hot guy now,” he joked. “Well, though she seemed like a pedophile, knowing that their age was sooooooo different.”
But the knight kept his cold smile. “Why, thank you for reminding me that now Croix is around, I wasn’t needed to her.”
“But you can visit her! I mean, you’re her Mind Guardian and you can turn into a Song Magic for her…”
“That’s it. I am only a weapon for her. I feel that she start forgetting that I am her ‘son’…”
The redheaded sighed. “Okay then…so you can materialized yourself again, why don’t you speak with Lyner or Shurelia?” he suggested.
“Same reason.”
Lorelai growled. He stared at Ayatane, who avoided his gaze and looking at another direction. He didn’t like seeing him like this. They had been friends for years, since Mir created Ayatane! Lorelai cared for him as much as Mir did. He loved his smile, especially whenever he was around his human friends. He looks so happy…and he just like seeing him like that. So free…something that he could never get to feel, because of his purpose of existence.
“Look, Ayatane,” he grabbed his head and turned it around so they were facing each other. “Van ewle beng, yorr teyys pitod mea. Biron iem, tou omnis lof, wee ki ra jam wis yor.
Ayatane stared back at those emerald eyes. So honest, and determined. He could never win against those eyes, those stares. He could never lie to him. And thus, he dropped his head to Lorelai’s shoulder, tears fell to his cheek after he couldn’t hold them back any longer.
Mea na re dsier…” he whispered, “Walasye na hartes mea!
Ma yea ra presia na faf,” Lorelai smiled, petting the young Virus’ head. “Was yea ra an yor.
Walasye na hartes mea…because I am only a Virus.”
“Then… Van walasye na hartes yor, was yea ra melenas yor, Ayatane.”
Ayatane gasped. He looked up at him, still within his embrace. Lorelai was smiling kindly, like usual. He grabbed the silver haired male’s face and kissed his cheek, licking the trails of tears that were there.
“I’m honest,” the entity said, “Was yea ra melenas yor—I love you, Ayatane.”
