"There, you're done."
The white-clad bride stared at her reflection on the body-length mirror. She wasn't the type to praise herself, but she had to admit that she looked beautiful in the wedding ceremonial get-up. She smiled as she carefully moved right and left, trying to find any flaw--although this attempt of her failed. Once she was satisfied, she turned to her stylist and inclined her head slightly.
"Thank you for helping me, Haru-chan."
The brunette laughed softly before answering, "No need to thank me, Chrome-chan. Haru's always happy to help!"
Their conversation was stopped when they heard the dressing room's door slid open. Both women turned their head and found a certain blue-haired man standing on the doorway.
"Ah..." He smiled fondly once his gaze fell upon the bride. "As expected, you look fabulous, dearest."
"Thank you for your compliment, Mukuro-sama."
Thinking that the two would like to be left alone, the stylist quickly gathered her belongings. "Well, my task here is done," she said as she slung her bag over her shoulder. "I'll see you in the church! Good luck and don't be nervous, Chrome-chan!"
The stylist left and the other two remained in the room. The man made his way toward the bride, keeping his gaze on the going-to-be-a-wife woman.
"Well, as she said, don't be nervous."
The one-eyed bride nodded. "I won't."
They went silent again, but after a few minutes passed she opened her mouth, as if about to say something, only to cancel that intention of her. He raised an eyebrow, slightly baffled.
"What is it?"
"No, it's just..." Her head hung low as she continued in whisper-like tone, "... is it really alright for me to wear this? It belongs to you."
The man blinked his mismatched eyes, before letting out his trademark chuckle. "Of course it's alright. I will never find a time to wear it, so it's better if I give it to you, sì?"
"Even so--"
A gloved index finger touched her lips, signaling for her to stop talking. He winked at her as he spoke,
"I told you it's alright, my dear. Now, it's time for you to appear in front of everyone. Surprise them with what you're capable of, okay?"

Even so, Mukuro-sama, would it be alright for me to wear something that He gave you?
Would it be alright for me to wear something that would remind you of Him?
