Character Profile: Hana

With Touken Ranbu being popular and I plan to play it when I get the chance... and since I also want to do several fanworks related to it, might as well design my own Saniwa :))

Overview

西暦2205年、歴史の改変を目的に過去への攻撃を始めた歴史修正主義者たちを阻止すべく、時の政府に送り出された審神者なる者（プレイヤー）は、その技によって生み出された付喪神「刀剣男士」達を従え、共に過去の時代での戦いに赴く…… 
AD 2205. In order to prevent the history revisionists from achieving their goals, the Time Government send an individual called the Sage (player), who, accompanied by "Blade Boys" -- artifacts brought to life using a certain skill, head to the past to battle the evil forces...
Following that rule: the Sage is affiliated with the Time Government and has the power to bring inanimate objects to life.

Her name is Kokuzawa Hana. Her family had been referred to as the Sage of Time for generations as their mystical power allow them to watch over and meddle with the flow of time. In the future, the role of monitoring the working of time now can be handled by computers as well, but the family still holds a bit of influence and is affiliated with the Time Government. Aside from harnessing a power connected to time, each member of the family have a unique skill to bring inanimate objects to life. Hana's forte is in giving human form to sharp objects.

When an army of dark forces was observed passing through times and caused a ripple in history, the Time Government immediately acted upon it and battle those people who claimed their intention to tamper with history, but nothing they did could even scratch them. In such urgency, the Government seek advice from the current leader of Kokuzawa Clan, Hana's father. They came into the conclusion that someone from the clan should go after those revisionists and deal with them. The end of discussion resulted in appointing Hana, the only member capable of going offensive in battle.

Although uncertain whether she really fits for the task, she accepted it and made preparations. Since the Government know that she's a master and transforming sharp objects, they offer her to turn swords to become the members of her personal army. Also, since according to the report she received from the Government's initial pursuing forces, the revisionists seemed to have stolen a few national treasures -- historical swords, to be more specific -- Hana is given additional task to retrieve them. If she's successful, she may took them to be a part of her army too.

  • Born March 3rd, 2190
  • Auburn hair, bob haircut
  • Amber eyes
  • Light skin
  • 155 cm
  • 45 kg (actually starting to decrease as she works on raising the Blade Boys; they don't eat much meat so she follows along their diet.)
  • Doesn't seem to store enough fat in her body. Which she thought to be the reason why her chest is pretty flat.
  • Only have enough muscles to do simple chores like carrying a basket of water.
  • Always wear a butterfly-shaped hairpin, which is actually her shikigami.
  • The kimono she wears usually have flower motifs on them and it matches the flowers in season.
  • Voice: soft and a bit mumbly when talking casually, but she will speak loud enough when needed.

Psychological Facts

  • Introverted, prefer to do everything by herself.
  • Very honest and straight, opting to keep silent than telling lies.
  • Have an extremely long patience bar so it's rare to see her burst in anger. When she does, she probably had kept her stress down for way too long.
  • Dutiful. Would see the work she'd agreed to do to its completion.
  • As such, she's pretty stubborn. She won't budge when she'd set her heart onto something no matter how one might tempt her.
  • The type that acts based on logic instead of emotions, so sometimes she can be seen as unemphatic, but she's not entirely unfeeling.
  • She does get emotional when something extreme happens. She just refuse to show it in front of others, thinking that if she does then it'll be a bad example to the Blade Boys.
  • Her position as the guide for the boys also structured her to put on a good, composed, and rational leader character. And she would do anything to keep the character.
  • Hana knows that she's not good at letting people know that she cares about them through words, so she prefers to do it through actions.
  • Raised in a very conservative household that takes pride in their Japanese culture, she naturally adopts and implements the character of a yamato nadeshiko. However, she actually admires girls who can jump around freely and cheerfully, and talk about what their heart feels openly.
